At Malta International Airport, we care about the all-round wellbeing, be it physical or psychosocial, of our stakeholders. Health and safety matters are treated on par with other activities that are critical to the successful and sustainable running of our business. We strive to provide work conditions and environments that allow our employees to thrive unhindered; business partners to trust us; and guests to feel safe at our airport.<\/p>\n

To ensure that these commitments are honoured, we use respected international standards, such as ISO 45001 and 45003, as our compass. Such standards together with local legislation allow us to keep our Health and Safety Work Policy updated, ensuring that this important document is continuously improved.<\/p>\n

Our appointed Lead Health and Safety Officer together with the Health and Safety team drive the Company\u2019s efforts in this regard. However, each team member – from the decision-makers to our front-liners – is expected to contribute to a culture of safety and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Regular training and awareness-raising sessions empower our people to act in order for potential risks not to develop into near misses. Our employees are equipped with the right tools to be able to carry out their work safely and asked for their input on health and safety matters.<\/p>\n

We believe that if our people lead by example, all stakeholders working at the Malta International Airport are likely to show the same level of commitment towards health, safety and wellbeing. Only if we all work towards common goals, can we ensure that we are doing all we can to protect the people who work with us or are affected by our operations.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n\n\n
